Please take great care around live cetaceans, as the tail is extremely powerful and can easily cause injury.

Avoid contact / inhalation with aerosols from the blowhole.

Do not place your fingers near, or in the animal's mouth.

If handling the animal wear gloves at all times. Do not handle the animal if you have cuts or abrasions on your hands or arms.

Wash your hands thoroughly immediately after involvement, especially before eating, drinking or smoking.

Grey seals are not friendly and should not be approached.

Due to the bacteria around their teeth even pups can give a serious bite.
